ITea and biscuits week is an annual event run by Age UK. It aims to introduce some of the 6.4 million people aged 65 and over who have never been online to the internet and other digital technology. The internet is a valuable resource that can make a real difference to the lives of older people by supporting independence, increasing social activity and improving access to information and more accessible products and services.
Her current exhibition of costume jewellery at The Podium called Beauty in the Beast, is a collection largely acquired from junk shops, market stalls and small town auctions, even salvaged from skips in the road, and then lovingly restored to its original beauty and style.
